Barbara Egan is a former elite athlete and coach (USA Hockey, Shattuck St.Mary’s 2x National Champion, NCAA Division I The Ohio State University athlete and coach; USPORT- University of British Columbia coach) turned award-winning therapist, clinic owner, author, and sought-after speaker. As the founder of Alive Counselling, an Approved Clinical Supervisor, Coach, Wife, and Mom of Four, Barbara blends her athletic and clinical expertise to help people and teams perform, connect, and live fully alive.

The struggle to find my identity after realising my journey to recovery after an injury wasn't going to go as I had hoped it would. I was crushed, searching for a new identity, and I didn't have anyone to walk with me through that, who had that lived experience.
Through the ups and downs, I believe it's my calling to help others and navigate the things I had to struggle through myself.
